We participated in another joint meeting today with IBEW 2304 and the Company.

The Union presented proposals for the 401(k) pension plan. We emphasized the need for a balanced package for both new hires as well as current employees. We provided the Company with several spreadsheets and various percentage options. We told the Company there is a universe of options.

We compared our 401(k) plan to other utilities and illustrated what we need to make our 401(k) plan equal to our Defined Benefit Plan (plan 2).

The Company stated, “We’re not going to incur big costs this year or next but want a good, fair and honest approach.”

We will meet jointly in mid-April to respond to the Company's health proposal and we expect them to respond to our pension proposal. We are scheduled to meet next Thursday, March 26th, to continue exchanging language proposals.
